Pavilion costs in Indiana vary by several factors, including size, structure style, material (wood or vinyl), and add-ons. At Sunrise Structures, we have four pavilion styles and a range of customizable options. We want your pavilion to match your backyard and how you actually plan to use it. We also want to be upfront about our prices — hard work and honesty are core to how we do business, and our pavilions reflect those values.

Pavilion Prices in Indiana by Style and Size

Use the table below to see pavilion costs in Indiana by style. Prices vary depending on the size and material you choose, so remember these numbers are starting points — your final quote will depend on your specific configuration.

StyleMaterialStarting PriceSize Range
A-FrameWood$6,50010×10 to 20×40
A-FrameVinyl$8,50010×10 to 20×40
TraditionalWood$6,50010×10 to 20×40
TraditionalVinyl$8,00010×10 to 20×40
AlpineWood only$9,00010×10 to 20×40
HamptonVinyl only$12,00010×10 to 20×40

A pavilion’s price varies widely depending on the size you choose. A compact 10×10 model works well for a simple backyard sitting area, while a 20×40 model creates a full outdoor entertaining space. The cost per square foot generally decreases as the structure gets larger, since labor and base material costs are spread across more square footage.

What Affects Pavilion Prices in Indiana?

Pavilion prices in Indiana depend on the style you choose, the material, the size, and any additional features. The structure style you select determines a lot about how the pavilion looks and performs — from the roof pitch to the post construction.

Style

We carry four pavilion styles, each with a different roofline, post construction, and price point. The A-Frame is our most flexible style, offered in the most size combinations and available in both wood and vinyl. The Traditional is our best-selling style — a classic 6/12 gabled roofline that works on nearly any property. The Alpine is wood only, with a dramatic steep roofline (10/12 pitch on narrower models) and 8×8 cedar-wrapped posts. The Hampton is vinyl only and our most architecturally refined option, with a 7.5/12 pitch and decorative dental molding.

Material: Wood vs. Vinyl

Wood and vinyl pavilions use the same engineered structural core — both are rated for 140 mph wind loads and 45 psf snow load. The difference is the exterior finish. Wood pavilions are built from #1 grade treated Southern Yellow Pine framing with Western Red Cedar accents, and are available in 8 stain colors. Vinyl pavilions have the same structural core wrapped in maintenance-free vinyl, available in White, Almond, and Clay. Wood pavilions generally start lower in price, while vinyl carries a premium for the no-maintenance exterior.

Size

Sizes run from 10×10 up to 20×40, with width options from 10 to 20 feet and multiple length options at each width. A 10×10 or 10×12 works well for a simple seating area. A 16×24 or 20×30 suits a larger outdoor entertaining space with room for a table, grill, and seating.

Add-Ons

Several add-ons are available depending on the style. An electrical package — a basic switch and outlet — is available on all four styles for Indiana installations. Cupolas are available on the A-Frame and Traditional styles. Shingle color selection is available across all styles, and stain color selection applies to wood pavilions.

Installation Costs

Unlike a pavilion kit, full installation comes with every Sunrise Structures pavilion. Our crew delivers, assembles, and completes the structure on your Indiana property — no pieces left behind, no separate contractor to call, no assembly instructions to figure out. For most sizes, the job is done in a single day.

Installation pricing is based on your pavilion’s footprint and your distance from our shop in Rochester, IN. To give you a real sense of what that looks like, here are estimated installation costs for a 14×16 pavilion at several Northern Indiana locations:

Financing a Pavilion in Indiana

Sunrise Structures offers two financing options for Indiana customers. The first is through Upgrade, with fixed-rate financing starting at 11.99% APR and terms of 7, 10, 12, or 15 years. The second — and most-approved option — is through HFS Financial, which specializes in home improvement loans: personal loans from $1,000 to $450,000 with rates as low as 7.80%, terms up to 30 years, and no home equity or appraisal required. The application takes about 60 seconds with a soft credit pull that won’t affect your score.

Is a Pavilion Worth It?

A pavilion adds functional outdoor living space and generally adds value to a property — especially in Indiana, where the outdoor season runs roughly May through October. Unlike a pergola, a pavilion has a fully shingled, solid roof, so it works in rain as well as sun. Unlike a screened porch, it doesn’t require construction work on your home — it’s a freestanding structure on its own foundation.

Where We Build

Our primary manufacturing partner, Country Lane Gazebos, builds each pavilion in New Holland, Pennsylvania. Sunrise Structures handles sales, delivery, and full on-site installation from our shop in Rochester, Indiana, serving customers throughout Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan — from Fort Wayne and Lafayette to South Bend and the Northwest Indiana lakeshore communities. Explore all our pavilion service areas here.

Generally, a fully installed pavilion costs more upfront than a DIY build, since part of the price covers expert labor and a structural warranty. But building one yourself means buying tools you may never use again, taking on the engineering risk yourself, and spending a significant amount of your own time. If your time and peace of mind are worth something, a professionally installed pavilion is usually the better trade.
